WHO SHOULD ATTEND<br />
The <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Works</strong> Association of New Jersey Continuing Education Conference is<br />
intended for experienced managers and other public officials concerned with public<br />
works management. Other people who meet program eligibility may also enroll.<br />
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY<br />
To be eligible for enrollment, one of the following prerequisites must be satisfied:<br />
possession of a Certified <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Works</strong> Manager (CPWM) license, Water or Waste<br />
Water Licensed Operator, NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP),<br />
Certified Recycling Professionals; current enrollment in the CPWM program with<br />
satisfactory completion of Management Tasks, Responsibilities and Practices; Human<br />
Resources; and <strong>Public</strong> Relations.<br />
REGISTRATION INFORMATION<br />
The fee of $165.00 includes tuition, handouts, continental breakfast, breaks and<br />
luncheon. Please use the application form to register. Early registration is advisable.<br />
Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The University reserves<br />
the right to cancel any session if there are insufficient enrollments. Applicants should<br />
submit registration forms with method of payment in order to reserve a space. No<br />
confirmations will be sent.<br />

Monday, March 21, 2011<br />
WITHDRAWAL<br />
Participants who wish to cancel their registration may do so up to five (5) business<br />
days prior to the start of the conference date. Participants must submit their notice<br />
of withdrawal in writing to the Center for Government Services in order to receive a<br />
refund of the full conference fee less a $25 processing charge. Faxed requests are accepted<br />
at 732/932-3586.<br />

CEU INFORMATION<br />
The Center for Government Services (Center) has applied to the Department of<br />
Community Affairs (DCA) for CPWM credits, to the NJ Water Environment Association<br />
(NJWEA) for TCH credits and to the NJ Recycling Certification Advisory<br />
Committee for CRP credits. Approval is pending. The breakdown is as follows:<br />

NJWEA certificates for sessions approved by this agency should contact it directly.<br />
The Center will provide DCA, NJWEA and the Recycling Certification Advisory<br />
Committee with attendance records for approved sessions.<br />
