RIDING<br />
All riding gear must be as follows. Pupils must wear their school rugby<br />
top in winter <strong>and</strong> school polo shirt in summer. Items to be sourced<br />

1 Pair Jodhpur boots (no long boots)<br />

Items not marked can be purchased from other suppliers but must be<br />
identical (e.g. socks must be plain, white shirts with the same style collar<br />
etc.).<br />
Uniform should fit <strong>and</strong> be neither too small nor too big.<br />
Uniform should be in good condition – items that are faded, torn,<br />
frayed or contain holes are not permitted.<br />
Pupils should arrive in the morning in clean <strong>uniform</strong>. Those<br />
children who are boarding should have sufficient clean items to<br />
be able to dress in clean clothes if <strong>uniform</strong> needs to be laundered.<br />
School bags ‐ all children are required to have the<br />
<strong>Brockhurst</strong>/<strong>Marlston</strong> <strong>House</strong>/Ridge <strong>House</strong> school bag. They are<br />
not to be ‘personalised’ other than the name.<br />
Blazers must be worn to <strong>and</strong> from school daily (Forms 3 <strong>and</strong><br />
above).<br />
All pupils are expected to have clean, combed hair. Boys’ hair<br />
must be above the collar <strong>and</strong> girls with long hair must have it<br />
tied up in a tidy ponytail or plait.<br />
All <strong>uniform</strong> should be clearly labelled.<br />
The school will write to a pupil’s parents if his or her <strong>uniform</strong> does not<br />
meet the required st<strong>and</strong>ards. If necessary, or otherwise if convenient,<br />
the school will purchase the correct <strong>uniform</strong> <strong>and</strong> the amount will be<br />
added to the bill.
