IN THE EVENT OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY<br />
You must contact the MEDOC Claims Assistance Centre directly when a<br />
medical emergency arises, at their 24-hour Emergency Helpline. The MEDOC<br />
Claims Assistance Centre will direct you to the nearest appropriate medical<br />
facility. The MEDOC Claims Assistance Centre will pay hospitals and other<br />
medical providers directly, wherever possible, except when you choose to pay<br />
the expenses or when the medical care provider refuses to accept payment<br />
directly from the MEDOC Claims Assistance Centre.<br />
