First Level will be split into Open and Intermediate Rider classes if entries so warrant.
Rider may ride any test from ITD through FEI Level, and may ride more than one test, provided the same
test is not ridden twice. Test(s) to be ridden must be stated on entry blank.
Riders entered in Short Course Event only will compete in these classes as part of SCE.
Riders may ride any of these tests in addition to the tests associated with the SCE.

Footing: .Two large outdoor show arenas - sand. Small indoor show arena - sand.
Warm-up: Sand and grass warm-up and lunge areas.
All of our courses are geared towards the horse/rider that is just getting into Eventing or
Short Courses: thinking about moving up a level. We aim to keep the fences fairly honest so that everyone
can have the opportunity for a positive experience.
Dogs: All dogs must be on leash at all times.
Driving Directions: From I-94, take Decatur/Dowagiac exit to 51 South. Approximately 3 miles south, turn right
(west) on 76 th Ave. Chardon Valley is approximately 1 mile west on the left. Look for a big green barn with white
fences.
