30th, we are opening up
the city of Leeds to you for
the BIYF Celebration
Weekend. We have shows,
events, activities and
performances taking place
all over the city, including
the Carriageworks,

Hello and welcome!
You lucky, lucky people. You are about to become
part of the biggest youth festival of its kind in the UK. This
year’s festival is going to be bigger, better and more fun than
ever before.
Over the next few weeks we have events and activities for you across Leeds.
From Monday 16th to Friday 20th June we have a selection of workshops in
schools.
As always, we have invited international guests and these students will be joining us
between Sunday 22nd and Saturday 28th June from as far a field as Durban, Namibia
and Pakistan.
And from Monday 30th June – Friday 4th July, Roundhay High School Technology College will be
broadcasting across Leeds with our radio station Reach Radio.
BIYF will also be celebrating the first national Shine festival celebrating
achievements of students across Leeds.
BUT this year we have even more on offer for you...

While some of the open air
events will be accessible for
your family and friends, we
are reserving the tours,
workshops and indoor
performances just for

Light, just off The Headrow.

hold of a card – your ticket
to fun and discounts all
year round in Leeds – and

are visiting Leeds – and
indeed, England – for the
very first time.

work with Leeds young
