The Infozone
“Help! I don’t know where to go or what to do during the
Celebration Weekend!!”
If this is you, fear not. We have set up a
dedicated Infozone, which will be open
and have information available
throughout the Celebration Weekend.
The Infozone is situated in The Light, off
The Headrow, Leeds City Centre.
Staff will be available to answer
questions in The Infozone:
3pm – 7pm
10am – 4pm

Sunday 29th June
Our team of Breeze helpers will be on
hand to answer any questions you
have about the festival
(including venue and events
information) as well as
give you information
about fun things to do all year round in
Leeds. You will also be able to sign up
for a breezecard here if you haven’t
already got one, or request a
replacement
card if yours is lost.

You will need to pre-book for some of our
events. If tickets are required, we have made this
clear in the event description.
Tickets for events can be obtained from EITHER The
Carriageworks (for performances and events) OR The Breeze
Box Office (for workshops). Please check the symbol next to each

As a taster of what’s in store during the Celebration Weekend, we will also be
treating you to some events in the week leading up to the Celebration
Weekend. Here are three special performances to whet your appetite.
Umdumo Wesizwe
Umdumo has performed live music
coupled with thought provoking and
well-choreographed dances and
movements. This evening will also
involve students from Garforth
Community College, Brigshaw
Language College, Bramley Primary
School as well as special guests from a
school in Durban South Africa.
When: 7.30pm on Thursday 26th

Intake High School Arts
College
Featuring work by students in the
disciplines of samba, steel pans, break
dancing, trapeze, as well as
performances by youth dance groups
and the famous band ‘Stomp’, who
create music using instruments crafted
from from reclaimed rubbish.
