We notice that in E. dirriy^aTo is gnomic aorist,<br />
while in N.T. it is simple narrative. In spite <strong>of</strong><br />
that we are tempted to ask : 'is it mere coincidence<br />
that E. <strong>and</strong> Matt, use <strong>the</strong> same phrase, or can it be<br />
that E. used <strong>the</strong> story <strong>of</strong> Judas to illustrate his<br />
fibint that a man does sometimes think it<br />
reasonable<br />
to commit suicide in this way ?<br />
