Marine Life and Seabed Effects •Marine life is sensitive to changes in temperature and salinity. A swimming shrimp at over 9000 feet water depth in the Gulf of Mexico •Decreases in Salinity effect some marine life by causing them to swell and explode. •Increases in Salinity effect some marine life by causing them to shrink or implode.
