Today I interviewed 7th Grader Ricky Rosales
and Ms. McLain in room 401. Ricky said that His favorite
part of school is when they are practicing at the
end of the day for the Special Olympics. Something
that they really like to do with their class is to go
camping. Ricky says that Ms. McLain is really funny
and very nice. Some fun things that they learned to
do in their class was making snow, making cat in the
hat cookies, and going to the Halloween dance.
It was fun interviewing Ricky and Ms. McLain
because they made me laugh with their funny jokes.
It was also fun getting to know Ricky and knowing
what he likes and what he likes to do at school. I also
liked seeing how he was so happy that he was going
to get interviewed by me saying he was going to be a
famous super star now. I enjoyed interviewing Ricky

We interviewed Mrs. Smythe’s 3rd grade students, Adan
and Dora. They said some things they enjoy in their class
are math, poetry and art. Their favorite part of school is
recess and lunch. They think Mrs. Smythe is nice and
teaches well. Also she tells a lot of stories.

The students of Ms. Rosales’ class like to color, write,
play, and do activities. Their favorite part of school is
everything, ice cream parties, and playing on the playground.
They think their teacher is nice, pretty and
she is playful. They are going to learn in class this year
new ways to learn, painting, and new reading series.

Mrs. Line’s class room
In Mrs. Line’s class we interviewed two students names Alexis
Monteleone and Micheal Johnson. Alexis likes to finish her
work early so she doesn't have to work on it later and worry.
Micheal’s favorite part of school is learning about science. He
likes learning any type of science in Mrs. Line’s class. Both
kids think Mrs. Line is funny, nice, and fun to hang out with.
Cool things kids got to do and learn in Mrs. Line’s class this
year was they read the “Outsiders”,
they got to eat good food, they got
to make
water color

Mrs. Line’s students, Alexis

Ms. Clapper’s fourth period has two girls that we interviewed,
one was Emi and the other was Makayla. Emi likes doing terms
in her class and Makayla likes doing the Fun Activities. The
girls’ favorite part of school is P.E. The girls think Ms. Clapper
is a nice, caring, funny teacher. Ms. Clapper gets to teach her
students about Egypt, crusades, tortures by the Inquisition,
they’re also learning about geography. They are learning where
important places are located and they get to do some plays and
skits. Ms. Clapper enjoys history and hopes her students will
enjoy learning history as much as she does.

Adventure to Mrs. Harvey’s classroom ~
We went to Mrs.
Harvey’s 6th grade
class to ask kids
some questions.
What an adventure
we had! They are so
fun to be around,
and they have a very
nice teacher. Here
are some of the

do in this class that you

Christian: I really enjoy
reading in my spare time.

cool things kids get to

- “Well, we read Maniac
Magee. We’re learning
grammar. We have library
time, and we
have little buddies.” (:

- “Well, they are a very

from our 8th graders

Lakeland Village School
We interviewed Ms. Davis’s class, room number 755,
she teaches 6th and 7th graders. One student we interviewed
was Carmen Ponce. A couple of things she really
enjoys about Ms. Davis’s class is that Ms. Davis gives
out candy, watching Meerkat Manor, and watching videos
about wolves. Her favorite part of school is lunch,
break and after school. Carmen thinks her teacher, Ms.
Davis, is funny, nice, and very explanatory.
Ms. Davis said 7th graders get to use microscopes
and learn about cells, genetics
and the human body. 6th graders get to
learn about earthquakes, volcanos and
ecosystems. 7th graders just used probability
to predict what their baby dragon
would look like and then they drew and
colored a picture of it.

This is Maribel and Rocio
This Is Brian
Today I interviewed four fourth graders in room
655 Mr. Poldberg’s class; their names are Maribel,
Rocio, Brian, and Berna. Things they like to do in
their class are Play at Peaceful Playground, Math,
and Social Studies. Their favorite part of school is
recess and when they go to music. They say that
Mr. Poldberg is cool, nice, funny, and very awesome.
Some cool things they get to learn this
school year are presenting their California history
report in front of camera. They burn the report on
a CD and give the presentation to their parents.
They also just won the multiplication challenge
and received a special flag. Mr. Poldberg says,
“This is the BEST 4th grade class.” I had fun interviewing
this class. They were very quiet as they

I went to Mr. Pickett’s class, his
room number is 302 and he teaches
2nd grade. The kids say that their favorite
part of school is recess and
lunch. I asked them what they think
of their teacher; they said he is nice
funny and friendly, also they said
they like to learn to read and use the
packet in class. Mr. Pickett said that
they are learning how to add and
subtract, also they are learning how
to write cursive. It was a lot of fun to
interview this class and I hope I

This Week, Mr. V’s Class!
Today I Interviewed Mr. V’s
3rd Grade Class! I took some
pictures of the class(right picture).
I spoke to some of the
students and I got their reviews
on Mr. V. One of the
students who is also my little
sister, Kaylin Garcia, spoke to
me today. She told me that
Mr. V is a nice person and her
favorite thing to do in his
class is doing Math and doing
Activities. I spoke to another
person who wanted to remain
Anonymous and said that Mr.
V is sort of strict but still really
fun. I tried to speak to Mr.
V but he didn’t want to talk
due to his business. I thought
he was really nice and
a cool person, and I
like it that he always
dresses up for Spirit
Days. Mr. V’s room
number is room #501...

Kindergarten classes
I chose to go see the kindergarteners
in the multipurpose room . I had
asked some kindergarteners what the
liked about their class and they said
that they liked to read and play in
their class. I also asked them what was
their favorite part of school, and they
said that is was recess and reading time.
Lastly I asked them what they think of
their teacher, and they said they all
think she is nice. Then I went over to
their teachers and asked them what the
kids were going to learn this year, and
they said that they were going to
learn how to do math and how to
read. I asked the teachers if there was
anything they wanted to say about
kindergarten And they said that they
are Enjoying a great school year.

Mrs. Poldberg’s 2nd grade classroom is
number 304. What the kids in her class like
to do is read, write, do math, do art, and
play. What the kids like to do during the
school day is go to the computer lab, go to
music, recess, field trip, and PE. What the
kids think of their teacher is that she’s nice,
the greatest teacher in the world, she’s pretty,
she’s funny, and that she’s creative.
Some of the cool things that kids get to
learn in Mrs. Poldberg’s class are about
rocks and minerals, fossils, how food gets
from the field to the table, life cycles, butterflies,
and famous artists. Mrs. Poldberg
says her classroom is awesome, that they
work hard, and put their best effort.
Mrs. Pickett’s 1st grade classroom number
is 201. What the kids in her class like to do
is math, math race, classwork, coloring,
playing with toys, and performing shows.
What the kids like to do during school is
recess, lunch, and tea parties. What the
kids think of their teacher is that she reads
to them and that she's nice. Some of the
cool things the kids learn this year are
about pollution, liquids, solids, evaporation,
sewing, plays, singing, Richard the
Third, and glass eyes. What Mrs. Pickett
says about her class is that this is a bunch
of great kids and they’re lots of fun.

Elsinore has been a big part of Motocross
since the beginning. The Lake
Elsinore Grand Prix has been around
for 50 years! It has been used in countless
videos. Many amateur races and
even a dirt bike has been named after
Elsinore. The Honda 125cc Elsinore,
for instance. The Elsinore Motocross
track has never been in the national
series, until now. They are the last national
on the circuit.

This movie is about Tony Stark dealing with a virus
that spreads through nanotechnology. Rebecca
Hall (‘The Town’) plays Stark’s intellectual equal, a
brilliant scientist who develops the nanotechnology
that unintentionally lands in the hands of terrorists.
Guy Pearce plays Aldich Killian, the evil geneticist
who creates the virus. Ben Kingsley plays Mandarin,
the villain pulling the strings.

Luke Evans plays the villain, the leader of a
crew of thieves targeting the same heist job.
Michelle Rodriguez is back as Letty. MMA
fighter Gina Carano will play a member of
Hobbs’ (Johnson) team. ‘Fast Five’ did huge
box office numbers in Europe and since Vin
Diesel’s return for the fourth movie the series
just keeps getting bigger.

“Hi-yo Silver, away!” From the writers, director,
producer and star of the first ‘Pirates Of the Caribbean’
trilogy comes this latest attempt to revamp
the popular 30s radio show / 50s TV show.
Johnny Depp is Tonto, the Indian warrior who
finds a wounded Texas Ranger (Armie Hammer,
‘The Social Network’) and teams up with him to
fight injustice. Depp (part Cherokee) was keen to
play a strong native American role, as he believes
they’ve been underserved in cinema.

Despicable Me 2

Monsters University

Pixar sure is making a lot of sequels now.
But wait, this is their first prequel, set back
when Mike and Sully were in their college
days, at the University of Fear. Imagine a
Northeastern university monsterised – frat
monsters, nerd monsters, Goth monsters,
and monster professors. It’ll tell the tale of
how the dynamic duo transitioned from
rivals to BFFs, and how they ended up
joining the Monsters Inc. workforce.
