<strong>there</strong> <strong>are</strong> <strong>two</strong> <strong>types</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>grooved</strong> <strong>joints</strong>.<br />

<strong>despite</strong> <strong>what</strong> <strong>rover</strong> <strong>dealers</strong> <strong>will</strong> tell you<br />

the newer metal seals trx100060 & ung100060 WILL NOT fit in the small groove type.<br />

trx100100 & trx100110 <strong>will</strong> fit both <strong>types</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>grooved</strong> <strong>joints</strong> (and the plain <strong>joints</strong> if you cut the outer lip <strong>of</strong>f)<br />

the very early non <strong>grooved</strong> <strong>joints</strong> use flat seals. 40-62-9mm & 40-76-9 <strong>are</strong> the sizes<br />

the small groved <strong>joints</strong> have a step on the inner part where the seal runs. the large groove type have no step<br />

EDIT: just measured the <strong>joints</strong> & added seal pic.<br />

small groove type 44-57-2.5mm<br />

large groove type 40.3-60-4mm (inner-outer-depth)<br />

late type large groove joint is on the right.<br />
