Whistler, B.C. – The TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival is known for world-class skiing and snowboarding
events, the film and photo competitions, fashion, dance and art shows, but especially for the music. This year is no
exception. Also known for going out with a bang, TWSSF presents The END Party, an all-night adrenaline pumping
dance party, from 10pm until the wee hours of 4am on Saturday April 21 st in the Whistler Conference Centre.
Featuring house music master, Felix Da Housecat; an Atlanta-based Chicago-bred two-time Grammy Award
nominated DJ/Producer/Remixer and innovator of the current electro sound, The END Party will be a mind-blowing
finale to the action-packed Festival line-up. Supporting Felix Da Housecat on his quest for Whistler music domination
is the master of dynamic variety, West-Coast native Longwalkshortdock. As a “veteran of sound design and electronic
music production for well over a decade, Longwalkshortdock's music has stepped into a genre of its own.” According
to his bio, Longwalkshortdock’s influences range from “80s video game music, metal and rock music, found-sound and
vintage analog synthesis”. In short, his showing at The END Party will be an all out assault on the senses, pushing the
limits of even the hardiest of partiers and providing the icing on the one very sweet TWSSF cake.
The pinnacle of professional partiers can be found right here at the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival, in the
form of the Monster Energy crew. With their namesake product on hand to keep them going, the crew is out to show
everyone how they do it, on and off the snow. The Shred Show presents a line-up of snowboarding events:

April 14 | Skiers Plaza Whistler Village
On April 14th, capacity crowds will witness the world's best snowboarders compete on a huge hip jump in a 2 round
elimination and superfinal format for $25,000 in prize money.
BOARDERSTYLE
April 15 | Blackcomb Terrain Park
With its global debut at the "The Show" in 2011, Boarderstyle sets a new standard for unique snowboarding events
where 4 riders race head to head in a traditional boardercross course and are then judged on their freestyle skills on a
giant park feature.

The TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival is excited to present a new and exhilarating Fashion EXPOSED show in

2012. With an Armageddon theme, Freeze Dance competition and astounding audio visual aspects, prepare to be
impressed and entertained beyond your wildest imagination. This year sees the talented Inner Ring Circus on stage, or
above it, as the case may be, with the models and dancers. Michael Mann, Inner Ring Event Manager, says “the Inner
Ring Circus is all about the wow factor! Our aerial performers are exhilarating and unparalleled in their ability to
entertain and excite the imagination. So when the end of the world comes …. Just look up!”
In addition, Dose.ca will be hosting the exclusive Fashion EXPOSED after-party, a fun-filled event at the Longhorn
Saloon featuring DJ Grandtheft of Team Canada fame. Tickets are available at the door, after Fashion EXPOSED, Friday
April 20 th , 2012.
