Prayer is only another form of meditation or auto-suggestion. It matters
not if there is a god listening, as long as you believe there is. I once
attended a class on hypnosis and found that about a fourth of my fellow
students were "men of the cloth." Of course they were there only to
learn how to counsel members of flocks better. Oral Roberts must
have been a graduate student.
