2.1.4 Please be reminded that this RFP is intended for basic E-<strong>911</strong><br />
systems and large and expensive systems may be the subject <strong>of</strong> a<br />
specialized RFP and are out <strong>of</strong> scope <strong>of</strong> RFP <strong>3646</strong>.<br />
2.1.5 Turnkey configurations that are deemed by ITS to be outside the<br />
scope <strong>of</strong> this RFP will not be published.<br />
2.1.6 Vendors must fully describe the open configurations.<br />
2.2 Two and Four Position Consoles<br />
2.2.1 Vendor may propose and describe in the Base System Configuration<br />
Spreadsheets, the equipment, installation, maintenance and training<br />
needed for a basic 2 and 4-position <strong>PSAP</strong> centers. The systems must<br />
be turnkey with all functionality needed for a basic <strong>PSAP</strong>. Required<br />
base minimum specifications and features for all proposed systems<br />
are described below.<br />
2.2.2 Vendor should sufficiently describe all equipment in the base<br />
turnkey system. This should include, at a minimum, the<br />
functionality and description <strong>of</strong> the system, its console, its<br />
telephones/headsets, display monitors, basic display features for<br />
phone and console, and the core system components/card shelf.<br />
2.2.2.1 Vendor must describe trunk line capability.<br />
2.2.2.2 Vendor must state maximum number <strong>of</strong> trunks<br />
per system.<br />
2.2.3 An Administrative Position/lines may be optionally proposed in the<br />
Components <strong>List</strong> Spreadsheet. Alternatively, Vendor may propose<br />
systems that include an administrative position as one <strong>of</strong> their eight<br />
Configuration slots.<br />
2.2.4 Excluded items. The following items should not be included in the<br />
“Base Systems Configuration Spreadsheets”. Vendors may propose<br />
these items in the “Component <strong>List</strong> Spreadsheet” section.<br />
2.2.4.1 Furniture specific to a <strong>PSAP</strong> installation.<br />
2.2.4.2 Logging Recorders. Note that Vendors may<br />
propose a variety <strong>of</strong> sizes or manufacturers in the<br />
Component <strong>List</strong>.<br />
2.2.4.3 CAD systems. Basic CAD systems to support<br />
the E-<strong>911</strong> system may be proposed in the<br />
Component <strong>List</strong>. However, please be reminded<br />
that large and expensive CAD systems are<br />
