This light has guided her through her life.

May Denise now share eternal life with Him in Glory.

A reading from the book of Ecclesiastes, Ch 3
There is a season for everything, a time for every occupation under
heaven:
A time for giving birth, a time for dying;
A time for planting, a time for uprooting what has been planted.
A time for killing, a time for healing;
A time for knocking down, a time for building.
A time for tears, a time for laughter;
A time for mourning, a time for dancing.
A time for throwing stones away, a time for gathering them up.
A time for embracing, a time to refrain from embracing.
A time for searching, a time for losing;
A time for keeping, a time for throwing away.
A time for tearing, a time for sewing;
A time for keeping silent, a time for speaking.
A time for loving, a time for hating;
A time for war, a time for peace.
What do we gain for all the efforts we make? I know the heavy burdens
that God has laid on us. He has set the right time for everything. He has
given us the desire to know the future but never gives us the satisfaction
of knowing what he does. So I realised that all we can do is be happy
and do the best we can while we are still alive. And when we eat and
drink and find hsappiness in our work, this is a gift from God.

crown of righteousness reserved for me, which the lord, the righteous
Judge, will give me on that Day, and not only to me but to all who wait

Prayers of the Faithful
Fr Mike: God our Father, we ask You to receive our prayers in faith,
hope and love for Denise, as she comes to share in the joy of the
Resurrection.
Brooke Gooch: Lord we thank you for Denise, for the love, inspiration
and laughter she gave her family, friends and community. May she be
held in God’s embrace now and for eternity. We pray to the Lord.

Lord hear our prayer
Brooke Gooch: The family and friends of Denise seek comfort and
consolation. Let us pray that God will heal their pain and dispel the
darkness and doubt that come from grief. We pray to the Lord.

Brooke Gooch: Denise now joins her father Keith and step father Des
who have gone before her. May God grant them an everlasting home
with Christ.

FINAL COMMENDATION AND FAREWELL
Before we go our separate ways, let us take leave of Denise. May our
farewell express our affection for her, may it ease our sadness and
strengthen our hope. One day we shall joyfully greet her again when
the love of Christ, which conquers all things, destroys even death itself.
