The objective and accurate data PCBS produces will
enable the decision and policy-makers and planners
to set up their plans and produce their researches
and studies. We hope that the work of PCBS will
expand to produce accurate statistical data of
important indicators in all areas and sectors of the
population, the vital statistics, investment, labor
force, agriculture, industry, energy, and housing. We
wish PCBS team the best towards developing our
homeland.

walks of life. PCBS has succeeded in evolving, within a
short period of time, into a reference to the accurate and
reliable figure and information not only for policy-makers,
national institutions, researchers, and scholars but also
for international institutions and researchers. Finally, I
congratulate the President, Directors, and Staff of PCBS on
this huge and remarkable success. I wish them more success
and progress in the quality and comprehensiveness and
prompt answer of information requests, which would help
us develop our knowledge of the situation that we would
like to change, including, first and foremost, freedom from
the occupation and establishing the independent State of
Palestine whose capital city is Jerusalem.
