NAMES FREER DIRECTOR OF GROUP SALES & MARKETING<br />
Phoenix, Arizona. . . . (June 2013) <strong>Rawhide</strong> Western Town and Steakhouse , Arizona’s largest western-themed<br />
attraction on 70 acres in Phoenix, has appointed <strong>Dale</strong> <strong>Freer</strong> to director of group sales and marketing. Rob<br />
Hinkle, <strong>Rawhide</strong> general manager and previous Walt Disney World operations manager, made the<br />
announcement.<br />
“<strong>Dale</strong> brings a very diverse background of group sales and marketing experience with high-profile<br />
entertainment companies such as Walt Disney Attractions, Universal Studios Orlando and DreamWorks SKG.<br />
His strength in multiple group market segments, both domestically and internationally, makes him the perfect fit<br />
as we take <strong>Rawhide</strong> into its next generation,” said Hinkle. Hinkle played an integral role in the pre-opening and<br />
opening of The Animal Kingdom Theme Park at Walt Disney World.<br />
Throughout his distinguished 30 year career, <strong>Freer</strong> has gained expertise in product development,<br />
implementation and promotion for hotels, theme parks and destinations. As Managing Director of DWF<br />
Hospitality Services, <strong>Freer</strong> specialized in theme park niche marketing, which garnered him his first client: Walt<br />
Disney Company. He has also served in regional and property-level leadership positions within sales and<br />
marketing for Ritz-Carlton and Hilton Hotels. As Manager of both Group Sales and Destination Marketing,<br />
<strong>Freer</strong> successfully rebranded Destination Fort McDowell Resort & Casino, a 24,000-acre venue which includes<br />
Scottsdale’s only AAA Four Diamond resort with spa and casino, championship golf, Southwestern<br />
entertainment and unique shopping.<br />

administration at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California. <strong>Freer</strong> resides in Gilbert with his wife<br />
Kimberly and prized family dog, Shortie.<br />
