Message from the President
Welcome to “un● bri● dled”. This magazine is devoted to
the members of RMR UNBRIDLED, the official club of the
RED MUSTANG REGISTRY. We hope this medium will
allow us to share information with our members and
create a
permanent record of the enthusiasm and devotion that our members exhibit
regularly.
When RMR began I envisioned a smaller more geographic “club” concept, but
quickly realized that what I wanted did not match what was needed. By the end of
our first year, we had members in more than 30 states and over a dozen countries.
Fast forward to today and RMR is approaching 6000 members with representation in
30 countries across the globe. In our first 2 1/2 years, we have had some great group
gatherings: three at the American Muscle Show, Dover International Speedway,
Mustangs at the Mountain, Mustang Memories, Mustang Week, Ford Nationals at
Carlisle and many smaller local events.. Even though we are a “registry”, when RMR
members gather their passion for their Mustang and the camaraderie shared
transforms the purpose of that from registry to that of a club.
This is why UNBRIDLED was born. This is the “Club” side of RMR. RMR members
have the choice to belong to either RMR or both RMR & UNBRIDLED. Those who
want more, want the full club experience can now use RMR as their club and
immerse themselves in a deeper relationship with those in the group. I hope that
UNBRIDLED will continue to grow and that our Regional Leaders will be able to
have club events for members around the world.
As for this publication, it is a celebration of who we are, what we stand for, and
most importantly what we drive.
