Recently in the selection activity of the “Low-carbon List & Benevolent Company 2011”, Generali China
Life Insurance Guangdong Branch was awarded the “Best performance in Low-carbon Responsibility
Dissemination”.
In collaboration with Guangzhou Daily and Research Center for Corporate Social Responsibility Chinese
Academy of Social Sciences, the “Low-carbon List & Benevolent Company 2011” presented awards
in 5 categories. It aims at encouraging the corporations with sustainable development and innovation in
low carbon concept.
The jury is consisted of the professionals from Chinese authorities, including the Chinese Academy
of Social Sciences, the State Commission of Development and Reform, The Climate Group Greater
China and the Chinese Society for Sustainable Development. During the selection process, the
corporations are assessed in their environmental protection works according to 5 criteria: totality,
tangibility, sociality, sustainability and creativity.
