<strong>1983</strong> ATHLETIC DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR HARVEY HAMMRICH, WATERTOWN Hammrich has been a coach or athletic director since 1960 and come to Watertown in 1977. Prior to that he sewed at Eureka and at Webster.
<strong>1983</strong> DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD CHARLES HOOVER, ONlDA Given for outstanding contributions to high school athletics and dedication to the highest and best in high school athletics, Chuck's affiliation with public school athletics dotes back to his own days as on athlete, and in the 1940's he became a basketball referee. He has long been a supporter of thevarious high school sports in Onido and for ot least 25 years sewed as timekeeper and clock operator for their basketball games. His support of athletic programs continues and is appreciated by the school and the community.
