In an effort to substantially increase proceeds for this worthy
cause, the Tournament Committee is excited about presenting
this very special Live and Silent Auction for your entertainment
and pleasure.
The tournament auction is the single largest component for funds
raised each year and has a truly significant impact on research
dollars. Proceeds benefit St. Luke’s Mountain States Institute and
University of Minnesota Cancer Research Center. The recipients
have used these funds in matching grant programs, which are
leveraged to the multi-million dollar level annually, for direct use
in cancer research.

When asked, Carew eagerly signed these baseballs in support of the

This portrait is one of the last large color canvases Rockwell
completed before his death. It is the only portrait that Rockwell
painted of an individual baseball player. Some of the faces in

included his own self-portrait in the cheering man biting
down on the cigar.
