ProAMT ® Essentials
Air Motion Transformer (AMT ®) are line-sources
as a matter of principle, thus they are very easy
to integrate in any Line Array design without
requiring wave-guides and phase-plugs. Regular
horn designs are sufficient.
Available standard sizes are 2,5“ - 5“ - 6“ - 8“
10“ - 12“ and, there are 3 design concepts to

mit der FH Düsseldorf, Fachbereich
Akustik entwickelt. Patentierte Membran-Technologie
und eine ebenfalls
zum Patent angemeldete signalgesteuerte
Zwangskühlung ermöglichen
problemlos Belastbarkeiten,
die bisher modernen Kompressionstreibern
vorbehalten waren bzw.
diese teilweise noch übertreffen! Die
Verzerrungen bewegen sich hierbei
allerdings auf einem unschlagbar
niedrigen Niveau, zumal die THD fast
ausschließlich aus eher unkritischen
K2 bestehen: Die eigentlich störenden
K3, K5 und K7 sind nahezu
nicht vorhanden.
Der dargestellte Treiber steht als Beispiel
dieser Bauform, die in verschiedenen
Höhen, Impedanzen und mit
unterschiedlichen Abstrahlwinkeln
zur Verfügung steht, und sowohl
mit als auch ohne Zwangskühlung
angeboten wird.
ProAMT ®197 PP 27R–740-121-F
was developed as a collective project
with the FH Düsseldorf (University
of Applied Sciences). Its patented
membrane technology and similarly
patent pending signal-controlled
forced-air cooling enable load capacities,
which until now were reserved
for modern compression drivers and,
even partly surpass these respectively!
Its distortion ratio, however,
remains at an unchallenged low
level, especially as the THD consist
almost merely of rather uncritical K2:
the rather disturbing K3, K5 and K7
are virtually non-existent.

of this special design, which is

and with different radiation
angles, and is provided both with

Projekte.
Der ProAMT ®168PP27R-728-197
ist ein weiteres Beispiel für die Einstiegsklasse.
Sein Frequenzgang ist
zu den tiefen Frequenzen hin erweitert;
er sollte allerdings vorzugsweise
mit einem kurzen Horn betrieben
werden.

dieser Bauform, die in verschiedenen

unterschiedlichen Abstrahlwinkeln
zur Verfügung steht, und sowohl

ProAMT ®168PP27R-628-141
was chosen as an example for the
ProAMT ® entry level category. Due
to its linear frequency response, it
can also be operated without the
horn attachment. Its maximum level
of 125 dB and its very low distortion
ratio provide an excellent basis
for demanding but cost-conscious
sound projects.
The ProAMT ®168PP27R-728-197 is
another example for this entry level
category. Its frequency response is
extended to the low frequencies, but
should be operated primarily with a
short horn.

ultra slim driver. This is achieved
through the patented U-shaped
design of its pole plates. Thus, its
assembly between two mid-woofers
is no problem. The lower SPL diagram
