WHEREAS, the Hon. Mayor Fortuna<strong>to</strong> R. Abrenilla, per r<strong>eco</strong>mmendation by the Committee on<br />
Tourism of the Sangguniang Bayan conducted an Executive Session with the Sangguniang Bayan on July<br />
28, 2011;<br />
WHEREAS, in the session it was thoroughly deliberated that the sole purpose of the Hon. Mayor<br />
in <strong>seek</strong>ing the authority from the Sangguniang Bayan is <strong>to</strong> <strong>seek</strong> <strong>for</strong> a <strong>grant</strong> <strong>to</strong> any funding institution <strong>for</strong><br />
the <strong>for</strong>mulation of the Eco-Tourism Master Plan in the <strong>to</strong>wn of <strong>Jagna</strong>, Bohol;<br />
WHEREAS, the Hon. Mayor has further articulated that there is a dire need <strong>for</strong> <strong>Jagna</strong> <strong>to</strong> have an<br />
Eco-Tourism Master Plan as the <strong>to</strong>wn has several <strong>to</strong>urism potentials which are yet untapped and<br />
unharnessed;<br />
WHEREFORE, aware that Tourism is an <strong>eco</strong>nomic engine <strong>for</strong> growth and development, it is<br />
hereby resolved that by virtue of the request a<strong>for</strong>equoted, the authority, sought by the Hon. Mayor is<br />
hereby <strong>grant</strong>ed.<br />
