Family: Husband, Will Preston, M.D., who I adore!! I met him while working at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.<br />

He also enjoys running and triathlon but has limited time to train due to his busy work schedule. We<br />

have two sons, Ryan and Andrew.<br />

Ages: Angie, 43; Will, 48; Ryan, 12; Andrew, 9(10 in <strong>March</strong>).<br />

Occupation or Dream profession: Currently a Professional Mother and Wife (try to be, anyway...) I am very<br />

blessed to be living my dream profession. :)Formerly a Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Therapist and practiced<br />

at Shands Hospital in Gainesville and Holmes Regional.<br />

Graduated: University of Florida, 1991, GO GATORS!!!!!!<br />

Number of Years Running: Three.<br />

Began Running Because: Started training for the Health<br />

First Triathlon as a goal for my 40th birthday.<br />

I Knew I Was Hooked When: My brain wanted to stop but<br />

my legs kept going...<br />

22:45 15K 1:15 Half Marathon 1:49 Sprint<br />

Tri 1:18 Olympic Tri 2:34<br />

Most Satisfying Race Performance(s): A tie between finishing<br />

my first Olympic-distance Tri and my first halfmarathon<br />

Favorite Race(s): Love Pineapple Man Triathlon cause the<br />

roads are FLAT!!! Any race that does not includes bridges, I<br />

am very afraid of running/biking the bridges :(<br />

Favorite Place(s) to Run: Any flat asphalt road......I enjoy<br />

the sidewalk path down South Courtenay Parkway<br />
