Please read all these instructions carefully prior to using the <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system and<br />

the E-nozzle. The E-nozzle should only be used with the <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system for the purposes<br />

described in this operating manual.<br />

1. Always pull out the mains power plug prior to dismantling the E-nozzle/<strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning<br />

system for care.<br />

2. The E-nozzle/<strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system should always be supervised during use. Children<br />

and persons unfamiliar with operation of the appliance should be kept away from the <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong>.<br />

3. Never vacuum fl ammable liquids!<br />

4. Avoid vacuuming of hard objects or objects with sharp edges.<br />

5. Do not vacuum cigarettes, matches, ash and/or other smoking or burning objects.<br />

6. Never use the E-nozzle/<strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system with a damaged mains power cable.<br />

7. Never switch off the E-nozzle/<strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system with a connected mains cable.<br />

Always pull out the mains plug if the unit is not used for a long period and for maintenance work.<br />

Pull the plug out of the socket and switch off all control elements.<br />

8. Heed the manufacturer’s instructions for use and warnings and only use approved original<br />

accessories.<br />

9. The electrical nozzle should not be exposed to moisture to avoid the risk of electric shock.<br />

Do not use the electrical nozzle outdoors or on damp ground. The electrical nozzle should not<br />

be immersed in water. Always switch off the <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system cleaning before<br />

attaching and detaching the electrical brush.<br />

10. Check the electrical hose regularly.<br />

11. Contact the manufacturer if the mains cable is damaged.<br />

12. The manufacturer bears no liability for damage resulting from incorrect use or use contrary to<br />

instructions, unilateral repairs or incorrect maintenance.<br />

Use of electrical nozzle<br />

The <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> electrical nozzle is particularly suitable for cleaning heavily-used rugs and carpets, but<br />

also upholstery and mattresses.<br />

The <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> electrical nozzle can also be used for vacuuming hard fl oors.<br />

Switch off your <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system. Insert the electrical hose cable in the connection<br />

provided (see integral components).<br />

Switch on the <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong>. Actuate the unlocking mechanism (A) and move the telescopic wand to the<br />

slanted position (B). The motor now starts automatically. The motor switches off if the telescopic<br />

wand is moved back to a vertical position.<br />

Electrical nozzle overload protection<br />

A resetable overload fuse automatically deactivates the motor for its own safety if overloading occurs<br />

as a result of blocking of the brush roller, bulky foreign bodies or knotting of carpet fringes.<br />

The red warning lamp is illuminated as a result. In cases where this occurs, please proceed<br />

as follows:<br />

• Switch off the electrical nozzle and pull the mains plug of the <strong>Pro</strong>-<strong>Aqua</strong> room cleaning system<br />

out of the socket.<br />

• Remedy the cause of the error, clean the brush roller if necessary.<br />

• Press the reset button (red) on the rear of the suction nozzle.<br />

You can then restart the appliance.<br />

2. Remove any deposits of hair and carpet<br />

fi bres with the crevice nozzle.<br />
