Ioana Ecard started her stylist career in 2002 at the "Le Coupe
Salon" in Ulm, Germany. In 2008 she won in the Global Color
Zoom Creative Category and thus became part of the Color Zoom
Team in 2010 creating the acclaimed "Just Naked Collection" with
GOLDWELL.
HOW DID YOU TRANSLATE THE COLOR ZOOM TRENDWORLD
INTO YOUR OWN STYLE?
Every single Color Zoom Collection offers new color and cut
techniques but also a world full of inspiration that gave me the
possibility to combine new colors to create my own new style.
WHAT DID YOU FEEL WHEN YOUR NAME AS INTERNATIONAL
WINNER WAS ANNOUNCED AT THE GLOBAL EVENT?
Amazing, I was very happy. It’s difficult to find words for this
moment. You are surprised, happy, proud … just overwhelmed!
HOW WAS IT TO CREATE A COLLECTION TOGETHER WITH A
MASTER TEAM AND THE OTHER INTERNATIONAL WINNERS
OF THE COLOR ZOOM CHALLENGE?
This was a very special and unique experience for me. It’s amazing
how hairdressers of so many different cultures work together in
such a creative and inspiring way. And the “Just Naked Collection”
we created represented all our different nationalities and working
experiences. It was really a once in a lifetime opportunity!
Ilze Eglite from Valmiera, Latvia, has spent 16 years in her
beloved occupation. For 12 years she worked at "Laima Lux"
and in 2006 she opened her own salon "SOHO". Since the year
2000 she has been a GOLDWELL Education Trainer and won the
Global Color Zoom Partner Category in 2007. Ilze created the
2009 collection with the Color Zoom Team.
HOW DOES COLOR ZOOM INSPIRE YOU?
In 2007 the Color Zoom Challenge Winner Team joined and
supported the Color Zoom Master Team for the first time to create
the Trend Zoom 2009 “Futuretec” Collection! All stylists were very
enthusiastic about this inspiring experience, they learned a lot
from each other – and had great fun together as well. The Global
Color Zoom Creative Team has inspired each other ... me as well!
I did believe in my wishes and I won! Victory gives more positive
motivation to do more and achieve more and more ... everything is
possible!
WHY SHOULD A HAIRDRESSER JOIN THE
COLOR ZOOM CHALLENGE?
It is a great project for every hairdresser in the world. It doesn’t
matter where you live – in a big city or a small village – if you are
good and you want to achieve more – do a nice job, send pictures
and you can be situated on top of the world.
