basic font creation using <strong>DLI</strong>, <strong>and</strong> displays the fonts which the Adobe PDF Library was able to locate on<br />

the host system.<br />

NOTE: On machines with lengthy resource listings (i.e. numerous fonts available),<br />

this application may take a minute or two to complete. Some time may elapse<br />

before any completion messages appear onscreen.<br />

For each single-byte Type 1 or TrueType font found, a font will be created in <strong>DLI</strong> with the same name <strong>and</strong><br />

type. Each character of a target encoding will then be displayed in a grid formation, to verify proper font<br />

creation. Fonts of other types (e.g. MultiMaster fonts, Type 0 fonts) will be noted in the Table of<br />

Contents, but not used for font creation.<br />
