event that includes <strong>the</strong> Union, Confederate and African-<br />

American perspectives. Each county and city has been asked<br />

to form a committee to work with <strong>the</strong> state commission to<br />

plan for <strong>the</strong> sesquicentennial. Learn how <strong>the</strong> state is preparing,<br />

what localities can do to get ready, and potential tourism<br />

and economic development opportunities.<br />
