Hrant Dink Vakfı Yayınları tarafından yayımlanacak.<br />
Son oturum, Avrupa Birliği Türkiye Delegasyonu’nun<br />
başkanlığını yapmış olan, Carnegie Uluslararası Barış<br />
Vakfı’nda uzman olarak çalışmalarına devam eden Marc<br />
Pierini tarafından yönetildi. ‘Açık Sınırlar İçin Nasıl Bir<br />
Gelecek?’ başlıklı panelde, sınır ötesi potansiyeli hayata<br />
geçirebilecek yerel kalkınma hamleleri ve Kafkasya’daki<br />
uyuşmazlıkların çözümü için olasılıklar değerlendirildi.<br />
Panelde, ayrıca Burcu Gültekin Punsmann ve James<br />
Derounian’ın sunumları yer aldı.<br />

Aktar ile Ermenistan merkezli düşünce ve medya<br />
kuruluşu Civilitas Vakfı Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı<br />
Salpi Ghazarian’ın değerlendirmeleriyle sona eren<br />
konferansta, kapalı olan Türkiye-Ermenistan sınırının<br />
geleceği derinlemesine ele alındı.<br />

The panel ‘Beyond Open Borders’ chaired by Asaf Savaş<br />
Akat discussed the prospects of civil society dialogue<br />
and track two diplomacy between Turkey and Armenia<br />
in the context of the sealed border. The panel hosted<br />
the presentations ‘Women Beyond Borders: Linking our<br />
Stories’ by Milena Abrahamyan, ‘Crossing the Visible<br />
Border, Breaking Down Invisible Borders: Armenian<br />
and Turkish Youth in Civil Society Dialogue’ by Urban<br />
Jaksa, ‘The Prospects of Track Two Diplomacy Work<br />
in the Political Context of Closed Borders’ by Philip<br />
Gamaghelyan’.<br />
The last panel session of the conference was chaired<br />
by Marc Pierini, former head of the Delegation of the<br />
European Union to Turkey who is currently a visiting<br />
scholar to Carnegie Europe. The panel ‘The Prospects<br />
for Open Borders?’ elaborated on the possibilities<br />
of local development initiatives that could help the<br />
region to realise its cross-border potential as well as<br />
possibilities for settlement of conflicts in the Caucasus.<br />
The panel included the presentations by Burcu Gültekin<br />
Punsmann and James Derounian.<br />
The conference ended with an evaluation session that<br />
featured assessments on the prospects of the sealed<br />
Turkey-Armenia border by Cengiz Aktar, Board Member<br />
of the Hrant Dink Foundation and Salpi Ghazarian,<br />
the President of the Board of Directors of Civilitas<br />
Foundation - a think tank and media organisation<br />
based in Armenia.<br />
Papers presented during the conference will be<br />
published in the form of conference proceedings by the<br />
Hrant Dink Foundation Publications in 2015.
