Summary<br />

Assist <strong>the</strong> Department Director in <strong>the</strong> oversight <strong>of</strong> NYC based case management services<br />

including administrative program management. Directly Supervise case managers and<br />

supervisors in <strong>of</strong>fices throughout Manhattan and <strong>the</strong> Bronx and provide consultation to<br />

<strong>of</strong>fices in Staten Island. Responsible for departmental operations in absence <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Department Director.<br />

Duties and Responsibilities<br />

1. Responsible for NYC based management services, including staff supervision and<br />

case record supervision.<br />

2. Assist in providing direct support and supervision to CC federation agencies that<br />

adopt and use <strong>the</strong> case management model and standards used by CCCS.<br />

3. Provide supervision to <strong>the</strong> supervisors and case managers as needed.<br />

4. Oversee <strong>the</strong> development and implementation <strong>of</strong> services to respond to changing<br />

client needs.<br />

5. Provide support, guidance and technical assistance to staff in handling challenging<br />

cases.<br />

6. Assist <strong>the</strong> department director in managing <strong>the</strong> integrated delivery <strong>of</strong> case<br />

management, emergency food services, and related work at <strong>the</strong> different program<br />

sites.<br />

7. Assists/trains staff members in completing accurate case records and monitors use <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Outcomes system for quality assurance purposes. Conduct case record audits at least<br />

two times per year according to established quality improvement standards.<br />

8. Assist in preparing annual department budget.<br />

9. Assist in preparation and readiness for program audits and site visits to program sites.<br />

10. Represent Agency to parishes and o<strong>the</strong>r community services<br />

11. Assist in developing grant proposals.<br />

12. O<strong>the</strong>r duties as assigned.


Education, Skills, Competencies and Experience Required<br />

• Master’s degree in social work, LMSW or LCSW preferred.<br />

• Five (5) years progressive experience in management, preferably with programs in<br />

multiple sites.<br />

• Ability to communicate and present effectively, both verbally and in writing<br />

• Ability to travel throughout Hudson Valley.<br />

• Understanding <strong>of</strong> <strong>Catholic</strong> Social Teaching, parish and Church Structures.
