Lower <strong>School</strong><br />
Clothing of any color or pattern<br />
Girls and boys in collared shirts<br />
Girls in dresses with or without collars<br />
Girls in jumpers with a collared shirt or<br />
plain jewel-neck shirt<br />
Pants or jeans<br />
Skirts or shorts that are mid-thigh<br />
length or longer<br />
Girls in leggings and jeggings only<br />
under a jumper or skirt<br />
MVS logo or college sweatshirts<br />
Shoes at all times<br />
Middle and Upper <strong>School</strong><br />
Clothing of any color or pattern<br />
Girls in dresses or tops that cover at<br />
least 3” of the top of the shoulders<br />
Boys in collared shirts<br />
Pants or jeans with a belt<br />
Girls in skirts that are mid-thigh length<br />

Special Occasion <strong>Dress</strong>:<br />
Exceptions apply to athletic teams on game days, when appropriate jerseys may<br />
be worn over a T-shirt, spirit days, or special occasion dress for events and field<br />
trips.<br />
Enforcement of <strong>Expectations</strong>:<br />
Accountability for the dress expectations requires a commitment from families<br />
and includes a level of responsibility that begins at home. Students who do not<br />
meet the expectations for student dress will be removed from the academic<br />
setting and will await proper clothing brought from home. <strong>The</strong> school will use a<br />
system of warnings to prevent inconvenience but will engage parental support<br />
for full adherence.<br />
