Our parade <strong>of</strong> Scarecrows will be<br />
displayed Oct 3rd-Oct 30th through out the <strong>town</strong><br />
along <strong>Kendall</strong> Road.<br />
Vote for your favorite <strong>scarecrow</strong> at the Parade <strong>of</strong> Scare-<br />
crows kick <strong>of</strong>f on Oct 3rd 10am—3pm at the <strong>Kendall</strong><br />
Community Park on <strong>Kendall</strong> Rd.<br />
Music, Food, Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt and much more!<br />
How Do YOU Enter?<br />
1. Involve your classmates, family members or employees to design a <strong>scarecrow</strong> from your<br />
choice <strong>of</strong> materials. Be creative! Must include straw or hay.<br />
2. Drop <strong>of</strong>f your completed entry form and $5.00 entry fee (all money goes to cash prizes)<br />
to Becky Charland at 2269 Norway Road by September 26th to receive your entry number<br />
and location to display your <strong>scarecrow</strong>.<br />
3. Bring your <strong>scarecrow</strong> to your designated spot on <strong>Kendall</strong> Road and set it up!<br />
What are the rules and details?<br />
All <strong>scarecrow</strong>s must have some straw or hay somewhere on them.<br />
• Scarecrow <strong>contest</strong> is open to all ages, individuals, families, clubs, groups & businesses.<br />
• Scarecrows must be durable and able to stand up to sun, wind and possible rain showers.<br />
• Each <strong>contest</strong>ant is responsible to set up their own entry at the site. If you need help, just ask!<br />
• All <strong>scarecrow</strong>s must be entered by Saturday, September 26th.<br />
• All <strong>scarecrow</strong>s can remain at their location until October 30th BUT must be taken down by<br />
October 31st.<br />
• Scarecrows should be whimsical, humorous, mischievous or lovable. Please consider the<br />
children that will be enjoying them!<br />
Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!<br />
Winners will be decided by number <strong>of</strong> community votes!<br />
Winners will be notified by phone and will be posted with photo on the<br />
<strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Kendall</strong> Website www.<strong>Town</strong>Of <strong>Kendall</strong>.com<br />
