DOUBLE HIGH SPEED FOR FRIESLAND FOODS
A Meypack end-packaging system consisting of
two machines was installed at the German production
facility of Friesland Foods; it belongs to Royal
Friesland Foods N.V., which is headquartered in
the Netherlands. Meypack delivered a combined
packaging system in the summer of 2007 for the
facility in Kalkar. On a specially designed VP 511
with a custom designed paddle chain infeed and
“pick & place” elements, the Chocomel brand of hot
chocolate capsules is packed in groups of either 4 or
8 into folding boxes. After exiting the VP 511, the
