Birgitt Fischer graduated from Academy of Fine Arts Prague<br />
(AVU), intermedia studio of Milan Knižak and is mainly working<br />
in the field of paintings. Her new figurative paintings in geometric<br />
style are following the construction of a grid, which she considers<br />
as one layer of reality. Birgitt Fischer puts herself again and again<br />
on this strict regulatory system and develops self portraits to various<br />
aspects of life with great humor and self-irony.
