4.5 There is little or no evidence for cultivation with associated settlement at high altitude.
However, sheepfolds were frequently found, and occasional freestanding enclosures.
4.6 The ‘Religious, Ritual and Funerary’ classification is subject to the usual caveats surrounding
the identification of what are mainly cairns as of ritual significance. In practice, this classification
is perhaps somewhat inflated above the true figure.
