The Mach<strong>in</strong>e <strong>of</strong> repression <strong>of</strong> the Islamic Republic <strong>of</strong> Iran aga<strong>in</strong>st the Kurds cont<strong>in</strong>ues to crack down with<br />
the usual <strong>in</strong>tensity. Accord<strong>in</strong>g to <strong>in</strong>formation from the Press service <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Kurdistan</strong> Democratic Party<br />
(KDP-Iran), from June 2010 to September 2010, gross human right violations by the military and police<br />
forces <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Iranian</strong> regime, aga<strong>in</strong>st the Kurdish population have been numerous.<br />
The border villagers who, to earn their liv<strong>in</strong>g, are forced to smuggle goods, are another category <strong>of</strong> the<br />
population who are victims <strong>of</strong> repression. From June 2010, 16 <strong>of</strong> the population were killed and 20 others<br />
were wounded by border guards. The <strong>Iranian</strong> forces even shot horses used by the villagers for their work.
