WHAT’S NEW
Marshal Reporting Console 2.1
Marshal8e6 is pleased to announce the release of Marshal Reporting Console 2.1 (MRC). MRC is a web-based
reporting suite which provides a common console for WebMarshal and MailMarshal SMTP reports. It provides
remote reporting access, report scheduling, email delivery and a range of output formats including PDF and Excel.
KEY FEATURES:
Remote Authenticated Web Access –
Administrators and stakeholders can now
access MailMarshal SMTP and/or
WebMarshal reports remotely to create,
schedule and view reports.
Advanced Report Scheduling – Reports
can be scheduled to run at defined times or
intervals such as once a week.
Multiple Report Formats – MRC
supports multiple output formats such as
PDF, XLS, MHTML (web archive) and on
screen reports through the console report
viewer.
Automated Report Generation and
Delivery – Completed reports can be
delivered to recipients via email,
automatically saved to a local disk file
directory or UNC path, posted to an FTP
site, or sent to a local network printer.
NEW FEATURES AT A GLANCE:
• Web-Based WebMarshal Reporting – MRC now provides full support
for WebMarshal reporting. MRC offers WebMarshal customers access to
web-based reporting, report scheduling, a variety of report delivery options
including email and a range of output formats including PDF.
• MailMarshal SMTP and WebMarshal Reporting in the same console
– MRC offers MailMarshal SMTP and WebMarshal customers a common
reporting tool so all report administration and access can be provided in one
place.
• Updated Windows and SQL Database Support – MRC 2.1 provides
support for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista operating systems as
well as SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server Reporting Services 2008.
• New Currency Symbol Support – MailMarshal and WebMarshal are both
designed to provide customers with a rapid return on investment. Several
reports in MRC provide a cost saving estimate which now supports the
currency symbol of your choosing to make reports more relevant for your
stakeholders.
Supports Multiple Reporting
Databases – Multiple MailMarshal or
WebMarshal databases can be saved,
making it easy to select different databases
when creating reports.

with a “one-stop-shop” for all email and web security reporting.

use MailMarshal Reporting Console at no
charge.
