Circle at the Quirk Cultural Center from 6-10pm. If interested in singing or bringing<br />

The <strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> Community Band<br />

The band consists of 45 musicians of all ages and walks of life, directed by<br />

Kristan Crane. We perform a variety of standard band literature at a medium to<br />

high level of difficulty. Auditions are not required. Rehearsals are Mondays at<br />

the Quirk Cultural Center, from the Monday after Labor Day to Monday before<br />

Memorial Day from 7-8:30pm. Concerts presented in the parks through June and<br />

July. Dust off that instrument and come play with us.<br />

The <strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> Community Chorus<br />

The <strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> Community Chorus, under the direction of Edward A. Shure,<br />

provides an opportunity for singers of all ages to join together in a fun, family oriented<br />

atmosphere. Additionally, the Chorus serves the community by performing<br />

for retirement and nursing homes, hospitals, churches and civic organizations as<br />

well as public performances at the Quirk Cultural Center, the Holiday Tree Festival<br />

at the JS Knight Center and the <strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> Library, among other locations.<br />

In May of 2011 the Chorus, in partnership with the City of <strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong>,<br />

premiered “<strong>Cuyahoga</strong><br />

<strong>Falls</strong> Cares,” a campaign<br />

to address special<br />

needs in the community.<br />

Good Neighbors of<br />

<strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong>. The<br />

Chorus rehearses on<br />

Monday evenings at Summit Christian School at Newberry Park at 7:00 p.m.<br />

Pickle Ball<br />

Teens, Adults, Senior Adults, Fun for all ages! A mini-tennis game<br />

for all skill levels. Instruction and equipment (1st time) provided.<br />

Where: Preston Park Court. When: Mondays & Wednesdays at<br />

6:30pm, Saturdays at 10am.<br />

Adult Coed Power Volleyball Open Gym<br />

Power Level open gym: at Roberts Middle School, 3333 Charles Street, every<br />

Thursday night from 7-10 pm, Sept. 15-Dec. 15. Must be 18 years of age or<br />

older. Fee is $3 per person, pay at the door. For power players only.<br />

Men’s Basketball Leagues<br />

The following fast break basketball leagues are being offered this year:<br />

18 and Over League – Mondays at Bolich and Roberts<br />

18 and Over League - Wednesdays at Bolich and Roberts<br />

The registration deadline for returning teams is Thursday, October 13, and Friday<br />

October 14 for new teams. The entry fee is $410.00. Please download a<br />

Adult Volleyball League<br />

Coed (B Level) League – Tuesdays at Bolich<br />

League play will begin the first week of January. The entry<br />

is Thursday, December 8th and Friday, December 9th for new<br />
