Morning Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Let us remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our morning prayer will begin with reflections of the men and women who work closely with the
poor and are helping them to see their own dignity. This morning we begin our prayer with the
words of Mother Teresa of Calcutta:
We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of
being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own
homes to remedy this kind of poverty.
God, our Father, we thank you for today. We offer you the work of this day as an act of prayer.
Guide our thoughts, words and actions that we may do your will and serve you faithfully.
Throughout this day, may we speak in truth, act in justice, and walk in grateful awareness of
being always in your holy presence. This we pray through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Morning Announcements
Attention all Flag Football Tournament participants: Due to inclement weather the tournament
will not begin today. Please continue to listen to the announcements and check outside the
Student Council Office for updates on the tournament.

The Latin Club will have a meeting today during the 1 st half of lunch in the Chapel Courtyard.
Any students who are interested in participating in the Ultimate Frisbee Club should meet in
room 114 tomorrow during the 2 nd half of lunch.
