Microtomy<br />
The <strong>Sakura</strong> Water Bath & Hot Plate provide a simple and<br />
secure way of stretching paraffin sections as required in<br />
histological, pathological, bacteriological and chemical<br />
laboratories. It also provides optimal drying on the wide,<br />
heated preparation area. The working temperature can be<br />
adjusted from room temperature up to 80°C. However, in<br />
order to avoid damaging your valuable biopsy specimen,<br />
the temperature should not exceed 60°C.<br />
The Tissue-Tek ® Cold Plate provides an easy way to cool<br />
blocks before sectioning. Just cool the plates in an ordinary<br />
freezer and take them out when there is a need for cooling<br />
blocks. The plates will stay cold for a long period, due to<br />
insulated bases.<br />
