WELCOME TO ALL COMPETITORS AND SUPPORTERS OF HUNTS KART RACING CLUB.<br />
This weekend is the FOURTH ROUND of the 2015 HKRC Club Championship. The 2015 race season will be<br />
12 rounds of the championship with 11 to count . The June 2015 race weekend will count for two club<br />
championship rounds.<br />
This month is the start of the three heat and final format until November 2015. Qualifying will be considered<br />
as some race meeting throughout the year. For the May weekend on Saturday practice there will be some<br />
track time on circuit two in preparation for the June East Anglian Race weekend in which circuit two and one<br />
will be used over the weekend.<br />
IMPORTANT NOTICE- APRIL RACE WEEKEND WIL BE ORGANISED OVER TWO DAYS WITH RACING STARTING<br />
SATURDAY AFTERNOON FOR ALL CLASSES. SATURDAY MORNING WILL PROVIDE THREE PRACTICE<br />
SESSIONS ONLY FOR ALL CLASSES.( costs adjusted accordingly) THIS IS DUE TO HOSTING THE 2ND<br />
ROUND OF THE 2015 LGM AND X30 TOUR.<br />
Please ensure you have read and understand the supplementary regulations for 2015 and the additional<br />
Supplementary regulations which are effective from February 2015. These are posted in race control and the<br />
website which are available on the HKRC website and race entry forms.<br />
GRID and PARC FERME/MEMBERSHIP PASSES are to be used when entering the assembly and grid or Parc<br />
Ferme areas. Only mechanics with passes will be permitted into these areas. ONE PASS per driver to be<br />
given to the mechanic.<br />
Wrist bands will be provided for non-club members on the band will be issued. Use of GALLERY - No under<br />
16’s are permitted onto the gallery and only mechanics with passes are permitted to use this area and<br />
smoking is not permitted. Anyone that are seen not to abide by these rules will not be permitted to return to<br />
the gallery for the race weekend.<br />
The paddock is not for general car parking, the grass area on the other side of the tree line must be used for<br />
mechanics and spectator vehicles only. There is an area that can be used for camping at the far end of the site<br />
Any competitor parking deemed not to be appropriate will be asked to move. AND IF SAFE ACCESS to SITE and<br />
PADDOCK is compromised for emergency services if required then the meeting will have to be stopped.<br />
VACANT PIT BAYS can be rented for £20 per weekend, please visit race control for availability. If anyone is<br />
parked on a bay that has not be hired, then they will be asked to move or Pay for Hire if the bay is not to be<br />
used for the weekend.<br />

There is FREE pit bay space on the around STOW CORNER AND WILLOWS side of the track.<br />
ALL PITBAY holders issued with a permit must display to enable the Club to ensure that competitors are<br />
parked in their correct bays. The permits will be handed out by HKRC officials or can be collected in race<br />
control over the race weekend..<br />
Pit bay enquires must be sent via email to vicehkrc@hotmail.com No Parking in unallocated pit bays, you<br />
will be asked to move.<br />
PHOTORAPHY. For any person that wishes to take photographs of the racing please sign on in race control,<br />
you will be given a tabard to indicate permission has been given. The photographs are not to be used for<br />
resale as HKRC has an official photographer. PIXELERO<br />
TYRE DISPOSAL. Tyres are still being left on site at race meetings circuit. The costs incurred for disposal will<br />
have to be passed onto the Competitors. During the weekend HKRC Officials will be walking around the<br />
paddock checking on tyre disposal. HKRC will dispose of tyres for a cost of £3 per set of tyres.<br />
NO DOGS are permitted to be walked on the circuit, only the surrounding area. This is due unfortunately to<br />
the trust of dog owners being broken by not clearing up.<br />
2015 IMPORTANT NOTICES<br />
ADDITIONAL HKRC ASR’S EFFECTIVE FROM FEBRUARY 2015<br />
• On track driver warnings will be displayed by the digiflag sited above the start/finish line gantry. Any<br />
driver not observing this warning may be excluded from the race<br />
• Water cooled engines can have tape or covers added but are not to be altered or removed during the race<br />
• HKRC official signs that are posted around the site are to be adhered to. Anyone found to disregard the<br />
sin content may be excluded from the meeting.<br />
• HKRC will not accept competitors to become a HKRC member after October of the race season.<br />
• HKRC scrutineers reserve the right to parc ferme tyres from any chosen class during the race meeting.<br />
When requested drivers arrive at the assembly area two races prior to their race to enable tyres/rims to<br />
be bolted to the kart.<br />
• Regulation 18 amended - Grid positions for the final is determined by the combined heat/qualifying results.<br />
In the event of tied points awarded then the highest grid position will be decided by the highest position<br />
achieved first. First highest time may also be used if points are tied. In the event that the finals cannot be<br />
completed the results and championship points are determined on the calculated grid position for the final.<br />
In the event of a heat being cancelled, the result for this are determined by the heat grid position.<br />

The day started out bright and sunny and it looked for a while that we might get dry running throughout. However, it<br />
wasn’t long until the wind and rain swept through in the early afternoon causing a lot of tough decisions to be made<br />
on tyre selection.<br />
Mini Max: Lochlan Bearman had pole position as he looked to win the final three months in a row, but it was James<br />
Hillery who flew out of the blocks to lead by over a second at the end of lap one. Bearman took up the pursuit followed<br />
by Thomas Byrne, but the man who was really on the move was Harrison Huggan. By lap three, he had moved up to<br />
fourth. A lap later he was right on Byrne’s rear bumper and next time round he was up to third.<br />
Bearman had been gradually closing the gap to Hillery and was over a second down the road from Huggan, but he<br />
struggled to pass the leader by half distance, Huggan was right there with him. On lap ten, Bearman finally succeeded<br />
in usurping Hillery, with Huggan diving through into second. Bearman’s lead was brief as Huggan swept past to take<br />
the win. Bearman was left to fend off Danny Harrison who had gradually worked his way through the field from eighth.<br />

4 - A Flack, Kosmic 5 - J Hillery, Tonykart 6 - T Byrne, Tonykart<br />
Honda Cadet: A hectic first lap resulted in six karts crossing the line separated by just three tenths of a second,<br />
Wesley Mason was out front from Axel La Flamme, Harry Thompson, Ben Kasperczak, Caden McQueen and Casper<br />
Stevenson, but that was the best it was going to get for Mason. Lap two saw Thompson and Kasperczak move into<br />
the top two with Mason and La Flamme losing out. McQueen was next to make a move, getting the better of La<br />
Flamme and Mason who was now fifth. Released from the pack, McQueen was quickly on terms with Thompson and<br />
Kasperczak. A lap later he was pas them both to lead, Kasperczak nipping past Thompson too. McQueen and Kasperczak<br />
swapped places several times as the clock counted down, with Kasperczak in the right place as the flag fell. Axel La<br />
Flamme’s race came to a premature end with one lap to go leaving Alfie Glenie in third.<br />

Junior TKM: Junior TKM saw a solid win for Matthew Taylor who made a good getaway after the Battenberg flags<br />
came out while the track was sorted after a first lap incident. Bradley White tried to stay with Taylor, but was nearly a<br />
second behind by the end. Joseph Reeves-Smith was a distant third, just ahead of Charles Machin, who had made up<br />
eleven places to finish fourth,<br />

Junior X30: Tom Douglas was kept honest for most of the race with Ben Wooldridge keeping the pressure on as<br />
the pair pulled away from the rest. Saul Robinson had to recover from a bad start that saw him drop outside the top<br />
ten. By half distance, Robinson was in third, but Wooldridge looked too far ahead to be under threat. As the battle for<br />

the lead hotted up, Robinson was able to close in. Wooldridge took the lead with a lap to go, but Douglas fought back<br />
and on the last lap he and Robinson dropped Wooldridge to third. Lucas Vaus had a great drive through the field from<br />
nineteenth to take fourth<br />

Junior Rotax: Jordan Musk’s grip on top spot lasted only two laps as his kart let him down and he dropped off the<br />
pace. Aaron Drury took over at the head of the field with Tyler Sullivan and Jordan Brown following in a repeat of last<br />
month’s race. Disaster struck the leader on the last lap as he lost his chain at Kestrel. Sullivan inherited the win ahead<br />
of Brown with Seb Priaulx a surprised but delighted third. Drury rolled over the line in fifth; such had been the lead that<br />
he and Sullivan had established before his last lap mishap.<br />

IAME Cadet: Dexter Patterson had been in good form all day and the final was no different as he took a dominant<br />
win. Bray Kenneally made his way up to second place but could do nothing to catch Patterson. Third place was in doubt<br />
right to the end. Max Barnett made it just ahead of Joe Willoughby with Thomas Smith fifth.<br />

Senior Rotax: Marcus Pett had pole but he couldn’t convert that into an advantage as Liam Ferguson came through<br />
to lead after three laps and proceeded to drive away into the distance. San Smelt took advantage of Ferguson’s pass<br />
for the lead to make his way up to second place and he followed Ferguson for the rest of the race leaving Pett in a race<br />
long battle for third with Daniel Russell. Russell would eventually come out on top and Pett survived a late charge by<br />
Tye Mason.<br />

Rotax 177: Joe Jessop and Martyn Smith had a good race long battle with Jessop taking the win by a narrow margin.<br />
Alex Rowley was a lonely third some distance ahead of Gordon Chenery.<br />

TKM Extreme: Kyle Sproat had been looking fast all day and was in the lead from lights to flag in the final. Michael<br />
Cornell took a couple of laps to come through from fourth to take up the chase as he sought his third win in as many<br />
months. Whilst the gap did come down, Sproat had everything under control and Cornell was unable to challenge for<br />
the lead. Joe Stockford was an untroubled third from Matthew Ayres, and in a fairly processional race, the main interest<br />
focused on Stephen Chisholm’s progress through the field to an eventual fifth whilst Rowan Reed moved up from the<br />
back to tenth.<br />

Senior X30: Gus Lawrence took the early lead, but it wasn’t long before Jacob Stilp hit the front on lap three. Stilp was<br />
never really troubled as he extended his lead lap by lap till the flag. Chad Little made steady progress from sixth on the<br />
grid to finish second with Danny Keirle slipping down to third.<br />
