GENERAL USES
≈ Irrigation Systems (Field Valves) (Underground Installation)
≈ Anti-Frost Irrigation Systems With Underground Valves.
≈ Corrosive Water Systems For Industry And Agriculture.
≈ Sewage Systems
≈ Water Supply Systems
≈ Municipal Water Systems
≈ Landscaping
≈ Green Houses
≈ Filtration
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
≈ The valves are designed to withstand various pressures whether they
are installed above ground or underground. * see below
≈ The valves are excellent for underground use and do not require
additional protection.
≈ Underground installation is more economical than above ground
installation, as it requires fewer fittings and less labor.
≈ The unique valve construction and smooth interior allows for excellent
hydraulic performance.
≈ Valves are not painted and thus are suitable for drinking water use.
≈ Both the exterior and interior of the uPVC Valves have a high resistance
to corrosive environments. ** see below
≈ Valve installation is so simple that no expertise or special tools are
required.
≈ The valve is available either threaded or cemented in all standard
dimensions (mm/inches). See the Dimensions and Weights Table.
* Pressure according to DOROT specification.
** Special diaphragm for corrosive fluids.
RESISTANCE TO ENVIRONMENTAL
CONDITIONS
The valve body is made of high quality UV resistant material. However it
is recommended to paint the valve for additional protection if assembled
above ground.
RESISTANCE TO CHEMICAL FLUIDS
The valve body is made of uPVC which is known for its resistance to a wide
range of corrosive fluids such as salt water, acidic and alkaline based fluids,
fertilizers, detergents, and industrial sewage.
* If you plan to work with corrosive fluids, a special diaphragm must be installed.
It is also recommended to get manufacturer's approval and technical advice.
