essence of The Grapes of Wrath.<br />
#4 – Explain why Springsteen changes the phrase in the chorus from “searchin’ for the ghost of Tom<br />
Joad,” to “waitin’ for the Ghost of Tom Joad,” and finally to “with the ghost of Tom Joad.”<br />
