Badge/Tickets
Your badge is encoded with all payments made through conference
registration. It is your only ticket and must be presented for admission
to ticketed functions and to receive the DVD of proceedings.
• NOTE: Photo identification will be required for all badge pick-ups
at registration.
Security
For security reasons, your badge must be worn at all official Turbo
Expo functions including Technical Conference sessions, the opening
session, luncheons and in the Exposition.
PDH Certificates
Technical Conference delegates will receive an email following the
conference with a hyperlink to allow them to log in and print their
individual PDH (Professional Development Hours) certificate for
attendance at ASME Turbo Expo 2012 in Copenhagen.
(5-day = 32 PDHs, 3-day = 20 PDHs)

Transportation
Public Transportation
The Copenhagen Metro was awarded the prize for the world’s best
Metro in 2010. It is a safe, fast, and easy way to get around. A single-ride
two-zone ticket costs 24 DKK while a two-zone multi-ride ticket with ten
clips (rides) costs 140 DKK. City Pass tickets are also available: Pass valid
for 24 hours: 70 DKK; Pass valid for 72 hours: 180 DKK. Your City Pass is
valid for all journeys on the Metro, bus, S-trains etc., within the zones 1-4 in

Movia is the bus company operating in Copenhagen. All normal buses are
yellow, yellow and red (A-busses), or yellow and blue (S-busses, which are
the fastest ones). Bus stops are marked with yellow signs, and you have
to push the red stop button when you wish to disembark. Bus ticket prices
start at 24 DKK.
Taxis
There are several taxi companies in Copenhagen. A taxi from Bella Center to
the city centre costs about DKK 200. A taxi from Bella Center to Copenhagen
Airport costs about DKK 150-200. Tips are not expected as the fares already
include a service charge. For carrying the luggage to the door or for special
luggage, taxi companies in Copenhagen charge 20 DKK extra.
