Session Participant Information
Networking Coffee/Danish for
Presenters and Session Organizers
Monday - Friday, 7:15 – 8:00 a.m.
Center Hall North
On the day of your scheduled presentation, a table will be
reserved with your Final Session ID. Meet with the other session
participants and discuss session logistics. All session materials
will be distributed at this meeting. Coffee and pastry provided.
Presentation Uploads
Presenters (authors, panelists, lecturers, tutorial instructors)
should plan to upload their presentations only on the computer
in the session room in which they will be presenting. Please
arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior to your session to upload your
presentation.
Presentations may be uploaded from CD-ROM or memory
stick (flash drive). There will not be a central network server
for the sessions.
Audiovisual Equipment
Standard AV equipment provided in meeting rooms:
• LCD data projector • Microphone(s)
• Computer • Pointer
• Screen
Registration
ASME is a not for profit organization and requires all session
participants to register and pay an appropriate registration fee. On
site registration is located in the Congress Foyer Registration. See
other registration information on page 129.
Badge Ribbons
Pick up ribbons at the Information Desk in the Congress Foyer.
See display for available ribbons.

Conference Sessions
IGTI staff (with red badges) and session assistants (with Assistant
badge ribbons) are circulating in the meeting room hallways to
provide assistance as needed.
Information Desk
Open during registration hours, the Information Desk is a
source for all meeting room related answers and supplies. Need
assistance with AV? Looking for a committee’s best paper award?
Stop here: Congress Foyer Registration
DVD Proceedings/Paper Printing
All technical conference registrants will have their badges
encoded to receive a DVD containing all papers published for
ASME TURBO EXPO 2012. Present your badge in the Registration
Area in Congress Foyer Registration to receive your DVD. A
computer printing station will also be available at the Information
Desk for printing individual papers from the DVD.
