says, “I am so proud of the tradition my father built that I now
have the honor to now share in and carry on into the future.”
When asked about herself and her hobbies she replied “My
personal artistic bent manifests in what I would call craftiness. I
am a very tactile person and enjoy making things with my hands.
Handmade cards, journals, books, anything that involves paper,
leather and odd bits of fabric or ribbon, that is my medium. I also
love reading and dancing, ballroom in particular.” She also claims
to be a bit of a perfectionist and says, “I am passionate about a
job well done and giving the best I can. Art is so personal to
each individual and I want everyone to feel that his or her art or
sentimental memories are being cared for.”
Their family business bases itself off their love for art, each other,
and God. Being a business owner takes courage and optimism;
sometimes the uncertainty can be scary. Corrine says with all
honesty, “There have been many times that we have been in
anguish wondering if we will make it, and how will the bills get
paid? However, because of our faith in God, there has always
been enough. I believe it has been this dedication to do the best
we can and being faithful to that even in uncertainty that has seen
us through hard times and will see us through them in the future.”

Did I mention that this year marks their 30th anniversary of being
in business?
