Owner of Bellezza Models, Rhonda Moretti states
“Our mission at Bellezza Models and in this yearly
competition is to build beautiful confidence within Tucson’s
youth and young adults. It is so much more than just modeling
and acting, it is about developing future leaders in our
community by teaching them about the beauty within each of
them. You do not have to be a ‘model’ to look and act like one.”
With the help of co-owner Lou Pimber, this power team
also strengthens the kids’ personal development and public
speaking skills. With a strong acting background and
experience in law enforcement, Lou has been the perfect
mentor and instructor for the kids and young adults at
Bellezza. Some of his film acting credits include AMC’s
award-winning “Breaking Bad”, Fox’s “Gang Related”, and he
is currently filming a mini-series for the EWTN Network in
which he plays “Chief Iowerano.”
“We teach kids to become the main characters in the story of
their lives” boasts Pimber. A special “Thank you” to all of our
amazing assistants who are performing a variety of tasks this
year for the Top Model Competition: Aura Vidal Otero, Maria
Fernanda, and Therese Phipps.
The Bellezza Top Model Finale will be held at the Scottish Rite
Cathedral on May 3, at 5pm and is open to the public.
