COLLEGE STATION ATHLETICS ADULT SUMMER SOFTBALL INFORMATION SHEET Mandatory Veterans Meeting: Mandatory New Team Meeting: Daily Phone: Rosters: Awards: Player Eligibility: Teams That Drop Out: Tuesday, May 22, at 5:45 PM. Any team that has participated in the College Station League in the last year. The meeting will be held at the College Station Conference Center located on George Bush Dr. Tuesday, May 22, at 6:15 PM. The meeting will be held at the College Station Conference Center located on George Bush Dr. Each team will receive a packet of <strong>information</strong> that includes schedules, rules, roster form, regulation, legal ball list, and other <strong>information</strong> pertinent to the season. If you call 764-3732 after 4:00 PM you will hear a recording of the daily game schedule. If the weather is inclement you will hear a message about the status of the field conditions. If the daily schedule is still on, the games are still on. There is a roster limit of 20 players for all types of teams. Due to work related circumstances this limit may be appealed to the Athletic Supervisor. A team must have a roster on file (turned in at the concession stand) with the Athletic Office. ROSTERS ARE DUE PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST GAME! T-shirts are awarded to the team that places first in their division on their night of play. In the tournament, t-shirts will be awarded to the overall champions of each night. Women can play on 1 women's team, 1 co-ed team and 1 fast pitch team. Men can play on 1 men's team, 1 co-ed team and 1 fast pitch team. All players must be 16 years of age at the time of their participation in the league. Players found on more teams may be ejected for the remainder of the season. Any team that signs up in the City of College Station Softball program and then decides to drop out will be penalized by one of the following: ‣ Before registration ends - no charge ‣ After registration, but before schedules are completed - $50.00 ‣ Athletics will determine the additional charges (up to the full entry fee) for teams that drop out after schedules are completed. Registration Problems: If there are not enough teams on your night of play, the athletic staff will offer you another night to play.
