CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE PREVENTION IN CLINICAL PRACTICE - CORVINA I.<br />
CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE ISBM TO A NEW GUIDELINE OF<br />
THE EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF CARDIOLOGY<br />
�e session will involve a brief introduction on the history <strong>of</strong> the collboration between the ISBM and the ESC<br />
regarding clinical guidlines for cardiovascular disease (Gunilla Burell), followed by a presentation <strong>of</strong> the major<br />
results and recommendations (Christian Albus). �e session will close with a discussion on clinical implications,<br />
need for education, among other recommendations.<br />

MEET THE EDITOR<br />
Presenter: Christina Lee, Editor-in-Chief, <strong>International</strong> Journal <strong>of</strong> <strong>Behavioral</strong> Medicine, <strong>2012</strong>-2017.<br />
�e <strong>International</strong> Journal <strong>of</strong> <strong>Behavioral</strong> Medicine (IJBM) is the o�cial journal <strong>of</strong> ISBM. It is published by<br />
Springer and is in its 19th year <strong>of</strong> publication. �ere are 4 issues annually, plus a supplement every second year<br />
which contains the <strong>Congress</strong> abstracts. All papers are available as online ahead <strong>of</strong> print shortly a�er acceptance.<br />
�is informal session will begin with a brief presentation on the aims and scope <strong>of</strong> the <strong>International</strong> Journal <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Behavioral</strong> Medicine, the Editor, Associate Editors, and Editorial Board, and submission and review processes.<br />
Following this, an open question-and-answer session will cover issues relating to the process and the types <strong>of</strong><br />
paper which are accepted, as well as any more general questions on publication issues.<br />
SPEED MENTORING SESSION MARGIT ROOM<br />
A one-hour opportunity for early career researchers to meet brie�y with more established researchers in the �eld.<br />
Early career researchers will rotate around the tables <strong>of</strong> mentors in a structured manner, asking any questions<br />
they have for each mentor (5 minutes with each mentor).<br />

Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Maria Kopp, the charismatic representative <strong>of</strong> behavioral sciences in Hungary and internationally, and<br />
the founder <strong>of</strong> the Hungarian Society <strong>of</strong> <strong>Behavioral</strong> Medicine, unexpectedly passed away in April <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
In this session we remember our esteemed and beloved colleague and friend, and recall in pictures and slides her<br />

NORDIC NETWORK OF BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE MEETING PARLAMENT ROOM<br />
�e NNBM was established on March 30, <strong>2012</strong> with ISBM support for the purpose <strong>of</strong> joining forces in around<br />
common behavioral medicine related issues in the Nordic societies. �e meeting at ICBM <strong>2012</strong> is intended to<br />
introduce the network to new members and discuss strategic plans, including education and training issues. All<br />
