of the year!<br />
Hegel H70 was awarded the prestigious<br />
Amplifier of the Year award by the biggest<br />
magazine in Scandinavia - Lyd & Bilde (NO)<br />
and it’s Swedish sister magazine - Bild &<br />
Ljud Hemma.<br />
They say themselves that these awards are<br />
sometimes hard to decide upon, but that<br />
in this case it was no hesitations. It was<br />
a “slam dunk” in favor of the H70. For the<br />
price it is simply an astounding product.<br />
Hegel & Audio Physic - demo<br />
Anders from Hegel and Stephan from<br />
Audio Physic participated at Ljudmakarn’s<br />
demo weekend in Stockholm. We<br />
played on the H30 mono blocks and P30<br />
together with AP Cardeas loudspeakers.<br />
It sounded extremely precise,<br />
and many commented it was the best<br />
sound they had heard in their life. Regardless<br />
of price.<br />
Hegel & Magico Q5 - Tokyo<br />
The first off shore demo of the H30/<br />
P30 combination was at the Tokyo<br />
high end show this year. Speakers<br />
was Magico Q5 (App. 70K USD). After<br />
listening to the Hegel combo the manager<br />
of Magico speakers immediately<br />
demanded that Hegel should be playing<br />
on the Q5’s throughout the show.<br />
Nothing else would do.<br />
Hembioconsult show<br />
In late November the Swedish dealer,<br />
Hembioconsult pulled off a massive<br />
hotel show in Alingsås - Sweden.<br />
Thanks to Lennart, Fredrik and Lennarts<br />
wife for a great weekend. In the<br />
end let’s quote from the Swedish forums:<br />
“I think we can all agree that the<br />
best sound came from the Hegel room”.
