• ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS<br />
– Made of Bioplastics<br />
– Made of Natural fibers<br />
• METHOD<br />
– Measurements of the biobased carbon content according to ASTM 6866<br />
– Measurement of the organic carbon fraction<br />
– 3 determination measurements => average<br />
+ addtional measurements if > 3%<br />
• REQUIREMENTS<br />
– Organic carbon fraction : ≥ 30% of the product to certify<br />
– Biobased carbon content : ≥ 20% of the product to certify<br />
– Constituents, components : ≤ 1%, and for a total ≤ 5% :<br />
no data for organic carbon fraction & biobased carbon content required<br />
• PRODUCTS<br />
– Calculation of the biobased content based on the biobased carbon content<br />
and the organic carbon fraction of each certified component/constituent<br />
